VO programmatic access to processed data currently on-hold

Published: 20 May 2019

Due to a technical database issue, the publishing of new science processed data via the Virtual Observatory (VO) programmatic interface has been put on-hold.

The affected services are the ones relying on the database table called ivoa.ObsCore, accessible via the VO Tabular Access Protocol (TAP) (http://archive.eso.org/tap_obs) and via the Simple Spectral Access (SSAP) service (http://archive.eso.org/ssap).

That table is currently not fed with new incoming data.

Therefore, any TAP/ADQL queries to that table, any SSAP query, as well as any python or other script based on that table, will only return matching observations published up to mid May 2019.

The Science Portal (http://archive.eso.org/scienceportal/) and the VO programmatic access to raw and ambient data are not impacted by this issue.

We are working on resolving the problem and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
