C Interface Library

The catalog library also provides a simple C interface, for use in C based applications. Note, however, that C applications that use C++ libraries must have a C++ main and be linked with the C++ compiler. The simplest thing to do is to rename your C main routine to c_main and call it from a one line C++ main. A description of the C interface follows. See the man page astroCatalog(3) for more details.
