Description

The purpose of this atlas is to provide a uniformly extracted and calibrated set of UV low-resolution spectra of the highest possible signal-to-noise ratio, for 69 quasars blazars and Seyfert1 galaxies, drawn from a decade of observations contained in the IUE data archive. The spectra are optimally extracted and co-added.

It is possible to draw the spectra using the STARCAT Preview option.

name		Object identifier (no homogeneity guaranteed!).
vmag		Magnitude: from the Veron catalogue.
z		Redshift: from the Veron catalogue.
bmv		Color: from the Veron catalogue.  
_M		Absolute Magnitude: computed as in the Veron catalogue.
spectrum	In the most cases there are 2 spectra per object.
camera

         	Camera 1	Long wavelength prime camera LWP
         	Camera 2	Long wavelength redundant cam LWR
         	Camera 3	Short wavelength prime camera SWP

sp_used		The camera numbers of co-added spectra are listed;
                the S-AP nomencature indicates the spectra that are 
		normalized in flux to the L-AP set (usually one spectrum, see 
		paper for a more detailed explanation)
                DOES *NOT* MEAN THAT THE SPECTRA WERE OBTAINED IN THE SMALL
                ENTRANCE APERTURE.
