WDB - A Web to Database Interface

WDB is an interface between the World Wide Web and relational databases. It has been developed at the ESO/ST-ECF Archive to provide an easy access to the archive databases.

With WDB you can search our catalogs and archives, get previews of the archived data, and submit requests for retrieval of the off-line data.

How to use it

Detailed help on how to use WDB is available from all the WDB query and result pages by following the HELP link. We recommend that you read this help page before using WDB to make full benefit of the system.

The Software

The core of this system, the WDB script, which was available as a public domain software package by the original author of WDB - Bo Frese Rasmussen, is now only available for use at ESO/ST-ECF. More documentaion is available following the link to the WDB homepage.
