Description
The photometric results here represent the first part of an effort to
provide UBVRI photoelectric photometric standard stars in the magnitude range
7 < V < 17 over as broad a range in color as possible. The stars that were
observed are located in a band centered on the celestial equator, and therefore
are easily accessible to telescopes of all sizes in both hemispheres. The
observational data were tied into the UBV standard stars of Landolt (1973) and
the RI standards of Cousins (1976).
