Description:

This catalogue is the 19?? version of the original first published in 1970. It combines many catalogues in common format. Source positions and flux densities are in general identical with the original ones; trailing have been included only when warranted by the accuracy of measurement. When flux densities were measured at several frequencies, ditto records are used to indicate the additional flux densities. No attempt has been made to coordinate multiple listings for the same source, inasmuch as this would be based on arbitrary criteria at best and would be ambiguous in cases where several sources in one list correspond to only one in another list of lower resolution. Where both integrated and peak flux densities were given in a list, integrated values were used in the Master List.
