• Informations concerning underground fares are on : http://www.rtm.fr/
  • From an underground station You can buy :
    • a "double solo" ticket (3.40 €) as round trip, you will have to validate the ticket in the underground and in the bus (if the trip last less than 1 hour, the bus will not charge the ticket, keep it and use it again for the return trip).
    • You can buy also "carte journée" (day ticket) valid until midnight for 4.5 €
    • if you wish to spend more time in Marseille, you can buy a "liberte 6" (6 euros) for 5 trips. "liberte 12" (12 €) for 10 trips. Up to 4 people can travel using the same "liberte ticket" (charging 1 trip per person each time).
  • Only "Solo" tickets are sold inside any bus (1.5 €)

• From the airport :
  • Fares from airtport to downtown Marseilles or to the Institute is around 50 euros.
  • There is a shuttle that departs from the outside in front of the Hall number 4 (Ask for "navette Saint Charles")The shuttle drives you to the Saint Charles railway station, from where you can take the underground. It is faster to take the underground line 1 to "Vieux Port" (6 minutes trip). Some taxis are however available in the railway station (should be around 10 €)
