ESO Server for EIS Candidate Object Lists

Description

The Online Server for the lists of candidate objects at the ESO/ST-ECF Archive provides access to various derived data products from the ESO Imaging Survey. See the copyright notices.

If 'Display HTML table' is selected as the output format, you will find two columns with buttons. If you select one of them you may retrieve either an I band cutout (left button) or postage stamps where available (right button). Postage stamps are available for the whole of patch B and part of patch A. They show cutouts of all available bands in a panel.

If you have SkyCat installed you may directly view it and make an overlay on the full patch images. SkyCat is available for SunOS, Solaris, HPUX and Linux at ftp.archive.eso.org/pub/skycat.

Query Form

To request the list you just have to select the list type and press the "Retrieve data" button. If you select "Patch B color" then the FITS output formats are disabled.
