ESO Server for the EIS Example Image/Catalog

Description

The Online Server for the example image of Patch A at the ESO/ST-ECF Archive provides access to one of the fully calibrated frames of the ESO Imaging Survey. See the copyright notices.

If you have SkyCat installed you may directly view it and make an overlay with the catalog for this frame which is also available. SkyCat is available for SunOS, Solaris, HPUX and Linux at ftp.archive.eso.org/pub/skycat.

You may also browse the catalog through the catalog server.

Query Form

To request the frame you just have to select the format and press the "Retrieve image" button. If you select "EIS-catalog" then the output formats for "Display" are disabled.
