ESO Online EIS Catalog Server

Description

The ESO Online EIS Server Service provides access to images and catalogues from the ESO Imaging Survey. See the copyright notices.

By using the ESO Skycat tool it is possible to access the EIS Catalogs at ESO directly from your computer (without Web browser). It is available for SunOS, Solaris, HPUX and Linux at ftp.archive.eso.org/pub/skycat . If SkyCat is already installed you need to configure it properly to make the EIS catalogs available.

Query Form

To retrieve a list of objects from the selected catalog enter a coordinate pair in the R.A. and Dec. fields (J2000) OR an astronomical object name in the Object Name field.

Coordinates:	R.A. : (hh mm ss)	Dec. : (ądd mm ss)
Object Name:	will be resolved by Simbad.
Catalog selection:	Patch/Band	Catalog
Search radius:	Maximum distance from center (arcmin)
Magnitude Limits:	Bright Limit	Faint Limit	limits apply to mag or same as sort field below
