From time to time test observations are carried out
at Paranal during technical nights. Such observations
are intended to check a specific mode of an instrument or
a specific configuration of the telescope. The observations
are geared to verifying the telescope and instruments and
may not have a complete set of calibrations associated with
them. Moreover, the requirements for such observations
are those of the technical nature of the test.
However, since such data may be useful to the community for
scientific purposes they will be released at the discretion
of the observatory with no associated guarantees with respect
to their quality.

such new data are released. |
